Nazi "war criminals like Josef Mengele, Walter Rauff, and Klaus Barbie did not simply vanish at the end of the war... Most of them spent several years in the direct employ of the US intelligence agencies and, when necessary, were set up in businesses in Latin America or the U.S."
Hundreds of Nazis were recruited by US scientific programs. @CovertActionMag wrote, "Ironically, it now appears that [Reagan's anti-Soviet military program] Star Wars is merely an extension of the Nazis’ wartime rocket research. Much of the US space program was designed by them."
