At the end of November, @AZSenateGOP set up an email asking for people who had information about voting irregularities to submit their accounts. Our public records request for the emails was fulfilled. About 500 people emailed - and there was no hard evidence, but a lot of
questions from people who were suspicious of things you’ve heard by now. The Dominion voting software was brought up here
And here
A husband and wife brought up the “green button” claims that were by and large thrown out of court
And another emailer said they didn’t trust @katiehobbs because she’s a Democrat. Actually they didn’t trust her as far as they could throw her
So, a lot of the people who were concerned brought up sharpies, and software, and other things that haven’t held up at all in court. But there were a large majority of people asking the Arizona GOP to move on and accept things. Including people identifying as Republicans
There was also this poll worker saying things ran smoothly
This person who said their process ran seamlessly
And, of course, there was the intentionally funny. People trying to make a mockery of the email process - like this person claiming a parrot was telling them to vote for Joe Biden
This person saying they saw a casket wheeled into a polling place
And, my personal favorite, the person who saw a lizard dressed in an overcoat voting for Joe Biden
As for some of the questions from concerned folks, Sen. Fann’s office had previously said their concerns would be forwarded to the state’s election integrity unit

People think pointing out lies or exaggerations is petty. But in terms of this Trump Campaign lawsuit in Maricopa County, it was alleged that “thousands” of voters had their votes not counted - both in the initial complaint and by members of the GOP here in the stare and beyond..
But, during today’s hearing, the Trump campaign’s lawyers admitted they had a “narrow claim” after less than 200 overvotes were recorded in Maricopa County. A campaign attorney said they ‘weren’t alleging fraud’ in the lawsuit and it wasn’t about ‘stealing an election’...
In closing arguments, they asked for relief only if it impacted the results of a race. Less than 200 votes won’t.
The Trump campaign acknowledged they didn’t believe anything malicious had happened, but rather good faith errors...
#BREAKING - the Arizona back to school metrics are out. There is a lot of information about recommendations for returning to learning, so try to hang with me here
There will be a red, yellow, green system. Red meaning schools should do all virtual learning, yellow meaning hybrid, and green meaning full in person back to school. They will be based on certain criteria
On a county by county basis, the metrics will look for below 100 cases per 100k population OR a two week decline in cases, two weeks with percent positivity of cases below 7%, and two weeks with Covid hospital visits below 10%
