I say fuck a lot. Why? Because several years ago I got pissed off at the double standards that allow men great latitude to use profanity and obscenity without consequence while women are supposed to use minced oaths. To me, minced oaths are just the same as the real thing.
When you say "Oh, Fudge" I hear "Oh, Fuck" which is the intent. Sure, I won't say fuck in front of children because they may get in trouble with the hypocrites who think some people have more liberty to speak freely than others.
But when men can say Fuck and women say Fudge, it's infantilizing. So I saw Fuck. And I don't give a fuck if you don't like it.

And no, obscenities are not a sign of lack of intelligence. Just the opposite. Saying what you mean is far more intelligent than mincing your words
What is strange to me is how much more people like Marco Rubio are troubled by obscenities like Fuck than by profanities like Damn, Go the Hell, and Jesus H Christ!

I mean profanities are a form of taking God's name "in vain" so shouldn't that be more upsetting?
Anyway, fuck it and all the men twisting their dicks over a woman saying fuck.

OK, so $600 to every citizen is not as much as is needed. But that is not all, there is an additional $1200/month added on to people's state unemployment insurance. That was $2400/month in the first COVID relief package, though the GOP refused to go that high again.
But people who compare the $600 and the $1200 to other countries... they're full of shit. Take Canada's $2000/month (that $1400 in US currency) and it's not for everyone. It's also taxable It's more like the unemployment benefit which was $600/week and is now $300/week.
The UK pays 80% of the salary of people who are laid off by coronavirus. France is paying 60% of employee's pay up to 4.5 times minimum wage. Comparing the single stimulus grant to the ongoing unemployment is fake. Compare unemployment to unemployment.

If Billy Graham were alive to see the way Franklin Graham has trashed the ministry he built, he would die of shame. Billy Graham strove to be bipartisan, to support Democratic and Republican politicians and to keep the traditional Baptist position of separation of church & state
Franklin Graham has shat on Baptist history and doctrine. The doctrines of soul liberty, of independent congregations, and the historic position of Baptists as the first religion to advocate separation of church and state have all been obliterated by Franklin Graham.
It's as though he took the Baptist church and injected it with the prosperity gospel of the charismatics and evangelicals. It has no relationship to the traditional Baptist beliefs that were Billy Graham's crusade.

You know over the years, I have seen a fair number of Hiter Downfall parodies, but if there is ever a moment for that parody, it is now with Trump and the people in the WH afraid to tell him to grow the fuck up.

My older brother had this album. He was in the Air Force in Germany and he left his stuff with our parents and I played his records over and over and over until he got out when I was in kindergarten. I know this entire album by heart.

This is so good. Read this now! If you can't read it on their site (like me), try your public library. If you have a library card, you can probably read the WP through your local library's online portal.
She addresses one of the most egregious and widely accepted myths about Black families, the absent father. I have ranted about this a few times.
Here is another rant about the same myth

So, the current pastor of the Baptist church my family attended when I was a child was in an accident a few weeks back. It seemed to be fortuitous because the church was utterly ignoring CDC guidelines and COVID had hit the town shortly after his accident. Town has <300 people.
My sister has been reckless, telling me not to worry because the county is so small it only has a single semaphore. But COVID has struck home there. Her next-door neighbor died last week. Her brother-in-law has it & so do his kids and grandkids.
Anyway, the pastor died this morning and I was going to offer my condolences on the church's FB page and there they had a broadcast of today's sermon, without masks, without social distancing, and they even had communion with no recognition of COVID.

I am going to rant about taxes for a bit because that 2018 FOX interview with Cori Bush has me pissed, at her for not doing her homework and at FOX, Mitt Romney, and all the other tax propagandists who focus solely on federal taxes. Remember Romney's 47% who pay no taxes? A lie.
But it's a lie that goes over well as it comforts and flatters the wealthy by portraying them as the people grossly bearing the burden of paying for everything while 47% are freeloaders. Well, first off, everybody pays into Social Security and Medicare, even the undocumented.
and they will never receive those benefits they pay for. There is a small exception for those who work but earn so little all their taxes are refunded as an Earned Income Tax Credit. They way Republicans scream about EITC you would never know it was originally a GOP plan (Nixon)
