1. The Georgia runoff elections are revealing the massive gaps in our campaign finance disclosure system.

We have no idea who is spending $40 million+ to support Loeffler and Perdue

And that's not an accident.

Let's dig in.

2. Peachtree PAC, which has emerged as one of the largest spenders in Georgia's runoffs, filed its "Statement of Organization" with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on November 6, shortly after the general election.

3. The initial filing contained no useful info on who was behind the PAC. Then Peachtree PAC filed its first financial report on December 3.

It reported ZERO raised and ZERO spent. The entire five-page report is a series of zeros.

4. Then on 12/9, Peachtree PAC started reporting MILLIONS in spending against Warnock and Ossoff. It has spent over $15 million so far. It's reserved $40 million of ads through 1/5/21.

5. This was intentional. Peachtree PAC opted to report monthly rather than quarterly. FEC regs would require Peachtree PAC to reveal its donors on December 24. By opting to report monthly, it can wait until the end of January. Voters are left in the dark.

6. I'll be continuing to dig into the activities of Peachtree PAC and others who are dumping millions into this race, which is the most expensive Senate race in history -- by a large margin.

7. Peachtree PAC also misled the FEC. The Senate Leadership Fund, Mitch McConnell's Super PAC, admitted that it is OPERATING Peachtree PAC.

But when Peachtree PAC filed its Statement of Organization it reported no affiliated committees.

8. McConnell's Super PAC (and almost certainly McConnell himself) know who is funding the Peachtree PAC but they are refusing to reveal it.

They are purposely hiding this information from voters

The entire scheme is a middle finger to disclosure laws

1. Yesterday, Facebook lifted its blanket political advertising ban, allowing ads involving the Georgia runoff.

Today, American Crossroads, Karl Rove's Super PAC, is using Facebook to run an outrageously dishonest attack on Raphael Warnock.

Follow along if interested.
2. The ad starts off with a typical attack alleging that Warnock "defended" Jeremiah Wright.

Loeffler has been saying this throughout the campaign and Politifact rated it "mostly false."

But American Crossroads takes things to a whole new level

3. Wright is deemed toxic because he once said in a sermon "God Damn America."

The American Crossroad ad tells Georgians that Raphael Warnock ALSO SAID GOD DAMN AMERICA

It shows a clip of him saying it.

1. Remember this picture of Kelly Loeffler with Chester Doles "a longtime white supremacist who spent decades in the Ku Klux Klan and the neo-Nazi National Alliance."

Loeffler says she had no idea who he was.

There are two new pieces of info that raise doubts about that claim.
2. First, Loeffler also posed for a photo with the VP of Doles' group, American Patriots USA, Josh Mote. The photo was taken September 3 at an event in Gilmer County.
3. Doles tells me he was also at that event. He was outside holding a banner for American Patriots USA.

Doles said he and his group provided security for Loeffler, who Doles claims was being targeted by Black Lives Matter activists.

1. The current phase of vaccine distribution, Phase 1A, is pretty straightforward.

Vaccines are sent to hospitals & used for health care workers and long term care residents.

Phase 1B is where the wealthy and connected can start to pull strings.

2. In Phase 1B, the vaccine will be made available for "essential" workers.

Some categories aren't controversial. Teachers, firefighters, grocery workers.

But the finance industry is lobbying to get deemed "essential"

In some states they've succeeded

3. The next phase, 1C, is more ripe for abuse. That's when people who are "high risk" get vaccinated.

People who pay 100K to join a concierge medical practice, for example, could have their doctor upgrade their asthma from "mild" to "moderate" to qualify

Lin Wood, who Trump retweets here, is advocating that Republicans BOYCOTT the runoff elections in protest

Trump is amplifying his voice

2. It puts Loeffler and Perdue in a very difficult position. Their entire strategy is about supporting Trump. They need his voters.

But Trump is saying that the election system in Georgia is rigged.

3. The Children's Health Defense Instagram post has 5K likes. It's not an obscure org. It was founded by RFK Jr. and is one of the most prominent sources of vaccine misinfo.
