I love the Book of Mormon! Over the years I have collected unique printings and different publications of this amazing book (garage sales, DI, and book stores). A thread!
I wanted to share some of these with my #DezNat family.
This one is pretty cool. It's a "fireside edition" with lots of room for notes. I've never seen another one of these after this DI purchase years ago.
This is one of my older versions. 1920 publication with no cover title printing on the front.
Another 1920 publication but this one has a real unique cover printing with a beautiful title!
This is one of my favorites. 1926 edition with a personalized note inside. This was presented to "Harold White who had perfect attendence to Sunday School" from thr Super Intendent.
A 1937 edition which also didnt have a title cover.
A lot of you old folks should know this one! 😂 This is one of my favorites and I think Elder Soares told a story about one of these 1980 publications in last General Conference.
This is a 1967, 8th printing edition from the Reorganized Church. Kinda interesting flipping through pages.
Have you seen these before? I've seen more now, but they had unique printings in the 80s with gold covers! Kinda cool, kinda weird..
This one is old (1923 printing) and real worn. I often wonder the stories of these old books. How many have read these pages of this specific book? How many hearts changed?
Two more of my reorganized church copies. Both printed in the 90s!
This is my absolute favorite! A 1947 printing back when thicker paper was used. This book just feels good and thick in your hand and its in great condition. The blue Book of Mormon!
Both of these are monsters. Big books! I like both covers... Simple and beautiful.
For you military men and women, you might recognize these. These are four of my favorites.
I have 67 unique copies of the book. Have not purchased in a while and need to get out there and find some more.
I know this Book can bring you closer to God than any other book!
