So I want to thank @erinasimon & @vicious696 for joining me in this journey and for being the first two in our pilot program that we're working on at Intel. If you listened to the latest episode of @SpawnOnMe you heard me and Marcus Kennedy talk about how important it is to
Not only do this work from a visibility standpoint but to also make sure that tangible actions are happening in conjunction with seeing folks. This program started a while ago and is now bearing fruit. Lots of the energy & commentary from the community in June sped up the process
The focus of this program is multi-fold. We want to uplift amazing creators in the space (with a focus on smaller to medium-sized creators after today's announcement) and we want to make sure to pull in folks from underrepresented communities. This is paramount.
Doing so lets us really help those creators get the equipment they need to make the content they want and it helps us bridge some of the gaps we have with those communities so we can understand the needs of those spaces in not just a business sense, but a cultural one.
One of the other major points that I wanted to drive home while starting this was that I wanted a PoC run vendor to help us make this real. The pedigree of the team at @PowerGPU is well known & I personally have always loved their work so it was a no-brainer to partner with them.
Again, a huge thank you to Erin, Parris, and the PowerGPU team for doing this with us. I can't wait to share some of the other folks we're working with on this program because I really do think it helps to move things forward.

I wanna thank EVERYONE who has been reaching out to check on me and the Black folks in their lives. It has been a very long week. For me personally it has been a very long 41 years. Seeing our community reach for help alongside allies in the fight has been helpful.
Sitting with my thoughts this morning and watching the events that happened overnight reminded me of how many times in my own lifetime I’ve seen throngs of Black people take to the streets to defend their humanity.
For me, it started with Yussef Hawkins, then Amadou Diallo, then Rodney King..etc. There were names lost in between those human beings that we don’t share as often. Lots of women, lots of children. Lots of mothers and fathers, sisters, brothers.
