this "lifelong democrat" has been vote shaming leftists for not wanting to vote/withhold their vote for biden, ridiculed the idea to push ppl in power for M4a, and is now defending ben dixon smearing julian assange. how do people like this get to be members of DSA? Image

julian assange is a hero who exposed the bloody war crimes of the US empire & is being tortured for it, fuck you if you think otherwise
here is a good breakdown of the smears against him. ben dixon tried to paint him as a bad faith actor by linking him to the trump campaign, which hillary clinton and co. did to do as well

300'000 US americans are dead, over 14 million people have lost their health coverage, and people are still debating whether you should use this opportunity to fight for universal healthcare or not. i am sorry, but the "left" in the US is embarrassing
i understand that the left in the US faces a more authoritarian, capitalist surveillance state than other places, being the number one imperial country in the world necessitates crushing its working class organizations & funding its giant military leaves less for social programs.
