In discussions about career choices,I think the role of 'passion' is overrated.

It's true one can't be great at everything but also true that one can be great at a range of things and they may not be related superficially but in principle. #Careers
When People talk about not being passionate about career choices that give a better leverage for their earning potential. I'm stunned, because many times they have not even given it a try.
So how did they figure out they are not passionate about it.🤷🏽‍♀️
It's that time of the year when people decide on what skills to learn or career switches and I'll like to talk about leverage.

So you're artistic, drawing or makeup or tailoring are not the only channels of expression, learn about the principles of design and follow the the money.
So you have experience in organizing church activities events and Executive Assistant Roles, every great organisation pay well for operational roles, optimize for those roles, you can have your passion and money
So you can teach and passionate about building the 'next' generation.
Teaching in class is only a channel, there are channels that scale your 'passion', and give access to a global audience, optimize for both. @DSNLearnathome is doing interest work in education at scale.
The internet has changed everything.

I'm still in awe of all the things that can be learnt for free or with 'small money'.

You know actual things that change your life, just because you paid attention.

I'd know about this because I switched careers by learning online
#Careers
In conclusion, this is a special message to girls, ladies and women.

Choose the seemingly hard fields that pay well, there is no virtue in low earning and yes, you're capable

There is no shame in trying and failing, it's rejection,'you no keh person',re adjust and keep applying.
It's been an honour to have you all follow me, I guess i had less than 1k followers at the beginning of the year. So I'll do give away of time.
If you're trying to switch careers and you need to clarify your thoughts, I'm great at such things,DM is open.

Next steps in your #DataScience Education.

Now that you can do basic python programming, set up your environment, know some tools, probably worked with the iris species classification, predicted the Titanic survival rate and you're stuck wondering about the next steps.
The goal of the next step in your #DataScience journey is to understand how decisions about data, algorithms and tools are made.

So I'll suggest the textbook end-to-end work-through where you know what every line does

Textbooks let you follow the thought process of the author
My top three books for this stage are :

Python Data Science Handbook by Jake VanderPlas

Python Machine Learning by Sebastian  Raschka.

Hands-On Machine Learning with Scikit-Learn and TensorFlow by Aurelien Geron.
