A2: Yes! I think the point that did it for me was when we had Ts complaining about their evals while at the same time failing kids left and right! DL here has shown how arbitrary grades are and how they are hurting our Ss. #ungrading
A3: Control, without a doubt. Not necessarily by me, but #k12 and traditional grading are so intertwined that getting out will involve agreement on so many levels, from parents to the district level. #ungrading
A4: Kids (students?) are way more flexible than we give them credit for. If we focus on the WHY and HOW of #ungrading, then I don't see any significant challenges.
A5: I'd be lying if I said this wasn't a concern. Right now, some students calculate what they need to do and can avoid based on points/grades. I'm not knowledgeable enough right now about #ungrading, but this is probably what interests me the most!
