Lessons to learned

1) Jehosphat had feared but he conquered that fear. We all experience fear, if you allow it to control you, it determines your outcome but if you conquer it, it brings you close to faith. Conquer your fear.

2) He consulted God. The help of man is always limited no matter how good their intention may be, vain is the help of man. You need God now more than ever. Seek the Lord.

3) He praised God in spite of the storm. He overlooked the storm and declared God's goodness. NEVER let the storm push you further away from God and His promises. In fact, it's at such time you need Him more. Col 3:16

4) He acknowledged the reality but turned to God for direction. You need to acknowledge the fact of sickness or lack. Faith doesn't deny reality but overlooks it and hold on to God.

5) He listened to God. Can you quiet yourself enough to listen for God's direction? Don't let the storm becloud your senses to hear God's word.

6) He worshiped God based on the revelation he got from God's word. He was moved, the reality notwithstanding. In the midst of the storm, you can celebrate when you have heard from God and received comfort.

God is not going to stop the storm, He would guide you through. Every stumbling block is turning around as stepping stones for you. (Micah 7:1; 2 Cor. 4:17)
