In continuation of the ongoing rehabilitation efforts by the Kwara state Government to fix critical infrastructure across the state under the @RealAARahman led administration, the collapsed bridge at Idera, a rural community in Ifelodun LGA is under reconstruction
to help the villagers who are predominantly farmers in conveying farm produce to target markets.
The villagers had decried the unfortunate incident which made practically impossible for them to connect to other adjoining communities
as both pedestrian and vehicular movements were hampered as a result of the collapsed bridge.
The villagers commend the state government for the timely response even as they noted that the ongoing reconstruction work will help control perennial flooding and aid seamless commercial activities in the area.
