Quick tips for anyone that wants to pray for longer!
The length you spend in prayer tells a lot about your Spiritual stamina.
It's a fact that the state of your heart is important in prayer but it's equally important the duration you spend in prayer.
If you truly understand what prayer is (fellowship with God) and its benefits, you'd stress on the importance of the length, as much as the state of the heart.
These are 5 simple but effective tips to help you stay longer in prayer.
1. Tell the Holy Spirit how long you want...
...to pray and He'll help you. He enjoys your fellowship and so He always helps you (John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth...)
2. Don't start with fresh or high energy. Start with minimal energy and you'll gradually increase it. It's a marathon not 100m race.
3. Take in a light meal. If you eat too heavy, you'd cage your Spirit as you'd be too careful not to throw up. That's a major distraction.
4. Pray with song(s) you always flow with. Not just any song but one that you flow with anytime.
5. Pray with scriptures. For instance...
...you can pray with a whole chapter in the book of Psalms. It's very effective.
Remember, at different times the Bible records that Jesus prayed for long hours, the Apostles prayed for long hours, remember Elijah praying for the rain, etc.
The state of your heart in prayer...
...is good but praying for long hours is also good.
If Jesus did it then be inspired to also do it.
Plan to have a richer prayer life in the coming year because you'll need to build your Spiritual stamina.
Cheers 🍻

Most times we emphasize on the study of the word to people but in reality, many of them don't know where to start from, what exactly to study or how to go about it.
In this thread, I'll share 7 ways to achieving this.
Issa thread man!!!
1. BIBLE STUDY BY CHAPTERS
In the Bible there are 1,189 chapters in the Old and New Testaments.
Follow these Guidelines;
a. Read through the chapter carefully.
b. Seek to find its main subject or subjects.
c. Give each chapter a title that suggests its main content.
d. Reread the chapter and make a simple outline, including its main thoughts.
For example, for John 1, you might make an outline like this:
“Jesus Christ, the Word of God”:
a. Jesus Christ was the eternal Word of God, 1–9
b. Jesus Christ came into the world, 10–18
Our generation is so naive that we worship every information, as long as it's from the 'experts' even when the destructive effects stares us in the face.
One of such is that masturbation has some good health effects. Well, it may..
...have but certainly not for the Christian.
Masturbation may not be from the devil but it's an open door to welcome the devil.
1 Peter 5:8 says of the devil, "...your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour".
Cultivating the habit...
...of masturbating will open that needed door for the devil to enter as a roaring lion, ready to devour.
