Never make an ungodly person or a non-Christian your model for financial prosperity. Never!
They could be popular. They could tell you about their legitimate businesses. THEY COULD BE HONEST, but you can never tell. What my ears heard today?

My Mum usually tells me, "Sometimes if a rich man tells you how he made his money, you'll prefer to be poor."
I'll rephrase it:
"Most times, if ungodly, unconverted rich men (who may be attending church) tell you how they make their money, you'll prefer to be poor."
I'd a conversation with a senior colleague today. We went to do some laboratory work in a secluded lab, and he started talking (he's not a good fellow with secrets even before now).
We talked about earning as a civil servant and he told me a lot about his own work history.
How laboratory workers steal government money without conscience? How people steal government revenue and still collect salaries? Someone steals half of his salary in a day or week, and say he's collecting his money that politicians stole? There's corruption in our civil service.
I'll come home #medtwittter
Doctors and Pharmacists refer government patients to their private clinics and pharmacies even when those government hospitals can provide those services.
Doctors cut deals with private laboratories and make referrals for percentage pay...
Numerous shady deals in procurement and logistics department...
All kinds of departmental fraud captioned under PP "Private Practice"
This happens in almost every MDA.
My brethren, "The love of money is still the root of all evil." Be careful about who you want to be like.
People do unbelievable things for money and cover it up with all kinds of deception.
Don't be under unnecessary pressure. God has been faithful to you, and there are many godly examples to look out for and emulate.
Some of these people are honest, but you can't tell who isn't.
"What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul?"
"Having food and raiment, let us with that be contented. For godliness with contentment is great gain."
One step at a time, and in righteousness God will take you there. You'll be rich too.
When you see that your ungodly colleague lavishing money and purchasing outrageous properties, and you earn the same thing... You can't tell what other business they're doing... Be patient about doubting God... Be careful about seeking their counsels... E fit shock you.
"Blessed is the man that walk not in the COUNSEL of the UNGODLY."

Danish Philosopher, Soren Keirkegaard once said, "Life can be understood backward, but should be lived forward."

A lot of things had happened, and you've got four more months before you. Everyone had a set of goals at the beginning of the year, but the COVID-19 pandemic brought some tweaks to our lives. Suddenly, we all developed ADAPTABLE GOALS: goals that meets the new normal.
Eight months gone! Did you achieve any of your adaptable goals? Did you redeem the time you had? Did you improve your personal skills, habits and competencies?
Well, it's not too late! "There are only two times to become a better person; yesterday and NOW."
