Watch: Keller, Texas police pepper sprayed & arrested a father who videotaped police arresting his son. The father was standing on a sidewalk, across the street from arrest. The dad had every right to record. Now police are being sued. The chief apologized star-telegram.com/news/local/cri…
The initial post was deleted because I incorrectly identified the police agency involved. It’s Keller, Texas police. Not Fort Worth.
This is where the father was standing when an officer pulled him to the ground, pepper sprayed him, and arrested him.
From the moment the father drove up, and asked what was going on (never getting out of his vehicle to interfere in the arrest) it was 40 seconds ... from the moment he rolled up to the moment he reversed to drive away.
“Marco Puente (the father), an emergency electrician from Keller, sat in the back of a police car for nearly 20 minutes begging for someone to wipe the pepper spray from his eyes.”

CBS News reports a law enforcement source said one theory investigators are looking at, regarding the Nashville Christmas Day explosion, is the possibility that AT&T may have been the target or some other building or infrastructure in the area of the explosion.
The RV housing the explosive device was parked at the AT&T building in downtown Nashville since Christmas Eve a day before the explosion.
The blast caused considerable damage to AT&T, which apparently is a communication switch hub, knocking out internet & cell phone service throughout a wide area from Nashville to Alabama.
In the town of Carencro, LA. a city councilwoman refuses to wear a mask. The mayor, who sits beside the councilwoman, requires masks in all govt buildings. At a recent meeting the councilwoman allegedly coughed repeatedly. 9 to 10 days the mayor had COVID
Update: the Louisiana Fire Marshall’s was contacted by the Carencro fire chief who asked for guidance as to enforcement of the Governors statewide mask mandate which applies to government buildings. I’m told the executive order doesn’t specify penalties in govt buildings.
Watch: In Carencro, LA., a city councilwoman refused to wear a mask at the last 3 council meetings despite city hall requiring it. The city manager confronted her. She said it was a personal decision, then, maskless, got in his face. Ps: The city’s mayor is hospitalized w/ COVID
Full disclosure: I grew up in Carencro and it was someone in my hometown who reached out to me because they were both embarrassed and appalled at how Ms. Guidry has behaved inside city hall where the public is required to wear a mask but she refuses to.

THREAD: Ashford hospital in Puerto Rico received a single box of 975 Pfizer COVID19 doses in what’s described to be, by a person with either knowledge of the situation, with special approval by the health department.
No other hospitals are getting vaccines today. Ashord, I’m told, was set to receive its own box shipment of vaccines on Wednesday, but instead, the health dept advanced them a box with the understanding they would give their box, delivered Wednesday, to the health dept.
Ashford planned to vaccinate someone today. That would’ve made them the first on the island to deliver a vaccine injection. They press was notified. Then Ashford said the Governors office called and asked them to wait until tomorrow.
What a loss.
