@Michael_Aiello Thank you for the kind fave for my "Jaws" tweet. I am amazed at what a cult film this is all over the world. I find people get a kick out of these little info nuggest.

Our family was a member of the very passionate little goup comprising the "Falmouth Theatre Guild" and I suspect that the casting people got connected to the locals thru them. I think half the town (Summer 74??) was in that film! 2.
I teach English, am fascinated with accents. The older locals had a pronounced "Cape Coddah" accent, that is likely all but extinct now. This is now something of a New England time capsule. CHEERS!

FINAL: The girl who gets killed at beginning was NOT a local. We tended to be the crowds in the back. And I never DID see Spielberg!
