Dear Buhari,

RELIGIOUS GOWNS SHOULDN'T BE AN IMMUNITY FOR CRIMINALS AND ROGUES!

The dictum that says no body is above the law is exactly what it means or what it implies. Which exactly means that anyone who commits any crime or blows a dog whistle to coupists to violently
overthrow a government over baseless claims built on sheer bigotry, hate and sentiments deserve no protection of any kind from legitimate arrest and prosecution for their crimes. By Nigerian laws, the only caliber of people exempted from arrest and prosecution for any crime they
commit are the President, Vice President, State Governors and their Deputies, and this is even while they are in office but can be arrested and prosecuted after they leave office.

In order words, criminals and insurgents masquerading as religious leaders don't fall into the
category of people with immunity from arrest and prosecution. In fact, the Nigerian constitution does not even recognize them as public officials, much less accord them any privilege enjoyed by public officials. However, the respect and privileges accorded to religious leaders
by citizens were simply due to courtesy in respect of the religious significance of their positions in the lives of members of their religious sects but not because of any secular law. This benevolence has made them look and feel so important, and this aura of importance appears
to have attracted all manner of crooks and other categories of dubious people to venture into the business of "religious leadership" for the purpose of hiding behind that aura to mask their criminality and dubiousness. Hence they perpetrate all manner of evil and expect to be
untouched by the authorities all in the name of being religious leaders.

From all indications, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah is one of such dubious characters hiding inside the gown of religious leadership to provoke bedlam and crisis in Nigeria for reasons best known to him. His
political inclination is well known, and so also is his false claim to probity and integrity. What is not known is how long are Nigerians willing to tolerate this wolf in sheep's clothing to continue to stir trouble on behalf of the criminal political class he represents. But
it's not even the job of hapless and helpless Nigerians to tolerate or punish the unbridled mischief of this conman, rather it's the duty of the federal government to protect the hapless and helpless Nigerians from the evil machinations of this salesman of crisis.

Kukah doesn't
have immunity from arrest and prosecution, as mentioned earlier. The failure of the State to cut these conmen to size is what is responsible for their oversized pride and their false sense of invincibility, which keeps pushing them into pushing the country to the precipice of
destruction. We can't afford their indiscretions and excesses anymore. It's time they are shown that religious garments cannot continue to be a shield for crooks and insurgents. Kukah has called for a bloody coup d'etat, and he deserves to be treated the way failed coupists are
treated.

Privatization fraud and it's end in view.

By Babatunde Raji Fashola:

To all those who daily engage me on the power situation in their respective places of abode and their experience with the Discos on 'crazy estimated Billings & power outages', here’s the best explanation for
you;

“In 2011, Jonathan sold our electricity distribution licenses to incompetent companies that have no experience on electricity. When the then Minister of power; Prof. Barth Nnaji advised that it was not a good decision, he was sacked immediately and replaced with Prof Nebo.
You remember?

This contract of sale of the electricity distribution licenses were made irrevocable but renewable. To this end power became privatised since 2011.

When this government came on board, it discovered that the DISCOS were not ready to render services but to reap and

BEE SHOP KUKAH ENJOYED NEPOTISM!

When President Olusegun Obasanjo, a Christian, set up the Oputa Panel in 2001, Justice Charles Oputa, a Christian, was appointed Chairman while Reverend Matthew Hasaan Kukah was appointed Secretary, and the entire panel was dominated by
Christians.

Of note was, Reverend Kukah didn't find it worthy to intimate President Obasanjo of the lopsided nature of the panel, which had a Christian Chairman and a Christian Secretary. But the bigger noteworthiness was the fact that Muslims in Nigeria didn't complain, and
neither did they threaten to go to war over this gross nepotism and favouritism, in spite of the fact that most of those to be investigated and tried by the Oputa Panel were Muslims. You can imagine the hell that could have been raised by Nigeria's special breed of hypocrites if

NDE DG SACKING: GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH

Last night, the President sacked the director general of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Nasiru Ladan Argungun for obvious various offences ranging from insubordination of his Supervising Minister, the Honourable
Minister of State, Labour and Productivity, @fkeyamo, SAN and being a clog in the wheels of the Administration's progress.

Not many knew that both Keyamo and Argungun had been having a silent fierce battle on who should direct the Special Public Works job where 774,000
Nigerians have been recruited by the FG, since the @HouseNGR summoned both of them months back which stirred a heated argument. The erstwhile DG began disrespecting Keyamo after the @SPNigeria asked him to take control of the Programme and report directly to the @nassnigeria
