The ruling class may decide that a traditional authoritarian coup, with military control and suspension of the rule of law, may be necessary in order to consolidate and sustain what is already, de facto, something close to a global fascist takeover.
In 1987 it was revealed, briefly, that the US has a secret protocol in place for the suspension of the Constitution.
Already, corona hysteria has allowed to ruling class to seize power and suspend democracy de facto in most of the Anglophone world and Europe, where government by decree has supplanted the legislative process and basic rights have been revoked in practice.

If the ruling class is ready to unleash a fascist coup in the US, the conditions are rapidly falling into place.
Bill Gates and the rest of the ruling elite are doubtless furious that there are Americans still leading normal lives in states like Florida and South Dakota. Cancelling federalism, therefore, would be one goal of such a coup.
The national lockdown threatened by Biden and desired by the mega-billionaires would not be legally enforceable under the current federalist system. Creating a pretext for emergency suspension of the Constitution allows Gates & Co. to effect the entire coronafascist prorgram.

Zeke Emanuel, Biden's top coronavirus adviser, published an essay in the Atlantic that is unmistakably an argument in favor of euthanasia for the aged. @paulsperry theatlantic.com/features/archi…
His monstrous argument is that everyone should willingly die, or at any rate decline to seek any sort of medical care, at the age of 75 when, he asserts, "creativity, originality, and productivity are pretty much gone."
The most reprehensible feature of this eugenicist screed is that he leaves himself a loophole: "I retain the right to change my mind and offer a vigorous and reasoned defense of living as long as possible." Euthanasia for thee and not for me.

What is especially disturbing about this piece of “political storytelling” - i.e., propaganda - is that its authors are well aware of the ruling class plan to expropriate the people, and endorse it.
The video is plainly intended to sell the ruling class attack on working people - formerly known as the "Global Green New Deal," now rebranded "The Great Reset," and fronted by the billionaires' pet economist Klaus Schwab - to its victims. time.com/collection/gre…
Doubtless this familiar gaggle of fake left influencers, ranging from cryptofascist Molly Crabapple to turncoat celeb Naomi Klein, were commissioned to create a marketing piece painting an unprecedented top-down assault on the people as a bottom-up revolution.
