🚨 Daily Caller Year In Review 🚨

We want to take this time to highlight the journalism our reporters provided in 2020 covering a range of important issues.
Some of the most vital work we did this year was our coverage of the riots that occurred across the country over the summer.

@RichieMcGinniss was as close as you could possibly be to the shootings that occurred in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Hero.
Not to be outdone, @ShelbyTalcott was also incredibly brave covering the riots this year including being assaulted in DC and arrested and held overnight in Louisville.

At the beginning of the summer, @VenturaReport had only started with us as an intern.

He filmed this viral video on his first day. The rest is history.
In addition to our riot coverage, our investigative team of @ChuckRossDC and @AndrewKerrNC did an amazing job of exposing corruption in our country's ruling class.
Despite attempts to shut it down, our fact check team of @AtienzaElias, @bsylvester31, @tschakohl, and @aislinnlmurphy debunked lies coming from all sides of the political aisle.

When retired police captain David Dorn was murdered while protecting a friend's store in St. Louis during the riots, @VAKruta went to his funeral and was able to capture the astounding support for him from his community.
Daily Caller's @MaryMargOlohan and @marlo_safi reported on many of the hot button social and cultural issues of the day, including many that were ignored by legacy media.
Our Senior Capitol Hill reporter @henryrodgersdc stayed focused on all the chaos that occurs in the halls of Congress.
While many in the White House press corps wanted to make a headline during the press briefings, our Senior White House correspondent @TocRadio made sure to always ask questions of substance
Our White House team of @TocRadio and @Hagstrom_Anders also broke important stories that came out of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue this year.
The vid squad @samantharenck, @CaitMcDuffee, and @_sagnikbasu created and produced a wide range of videos with important figures in politics and media.
And last but not least, who could forget the time @dhookstead literally saved Big 10 football?!
This is just a small window into what our company has done this year. Our editors, producers, interns, and business staff are all behind the scenes ensuring that we can give you a fun and unfiltered look into the news every single day.
2020 was a wild ride.

Thank you all for supporting our work along the way. We wouldn't be able to do what we do without you.

We can't wait to see what 2021 has in store.

Hypocrisy runs rampant among our corporate elites. Many big companies have spoken out against racism and discrimination this year but have been linked to forced Uighur slave labor in China.

Here they are:

Our friends at @Nike once told us to "believe in something even if it means sacrificing everything."

Would you sacrifice your profits for the dignity of enslaved Uighur Muslims?
The folks at @CocaCola, @Apple, @adidas, @thenorthface all took strong stands against racism this year. They committed to "demand more from themselves."

Why do you allow your companies to rely on slave labor from a foreign country?

Democrats led by Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have spent months refusing to budge on COVID-19 relief.

Here is a thread to refresh your memory

🧵
It started when Democrats introduced their $3 trillion dollar HEROES Act in May, which included a bailout for the post office, a tax break for wealthy people in blue states, made illegal aliens eligible for stimulus, and mentioned "cannabis" 68 times
dailycaller.com/2020/05/15/hou…
As a counter-offer to the HEROES Act, Republicans attempted to negotiate on four different coronavirus stimulus deals over the summer.

Democrats rejected every single one.
