10. THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS: Mother and Child hospital, Real Madrid Academy, Okoro-Nu-Odo flyover, Sakpewa - Bori dual carriage way, Abonnema ring road, the 10 kilometer Bolo internal roads, and the Eteo - Sime - Nowan - Kira road will be commissioned from 4th of January 2021.

My Dear Good People of Rivers State,

Yesterday, May 7th 2020, the additional measures, including the 24 hours lockdown on Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt Local Government Areas came into effect as prescribed in our Executive Order No. 006.
I have personally gone around to monitor the extent of compliance with these measures, which were directed at mitigating the spread of COVID-19 and advancing public health and safety in our State.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has announced a lockdown of parts of Port Harcourt and Obio/Akpor Local Government Areas in view of the failure of residents of the affected areas to comply with the regulations of the State Government to check the spread of coronavirus.
