@Hadithoftheday Surah Yusuf - Chapter no. 12 of Glorious Qur'an. It contains 111 verses.
Surah Yusuf is the only surah in the Qur’an that has a unified story as its theme from the beginning to the end.
The whole surah is nothing but a story.

Allah says in Qur'an:

Surah Yūsuf is unique in that the entire Surah tells a single story from beginning to end. This is not the usual method of storytelling in the Quran.

@Hadithoftheday The Surah narates the story of Yūsuf AS. As a child,he has a dream of the sun,moon & eleven stars bowing to him.His brothers grow jealous of him & plot against him.They throw him in a well to get rid of him. He is taken away as a slave & ends up in the home of a minister in Egypt

@Hadithoftheday There he grows up. As a young man, he faces new trials. The minister’s wife tries to seduce him, but he resists and for this, he is wrongly imprisoned. He spends the next few years in prison, where he meets other prisoners and interprets their dreams. +

@Hadithoftheday One of these prisoners is eventually released & ends up serving the king of Egypt.
At this point, the king has a dream & the ex-prisoner asks Yūsuf A.S to interpret it. Impressed by Yūsuf ‘s interpretation & piety, the king releases him from prison & makes him a finance minister

@Hadithoftheday A drought causes Yūsuf’s brothers to seek financial assistance from the minister of Egypt which brings them into the court of Yūsuf. There, he confronts them, reveals his true identity, and ultimately forgives them..

@Hadithoftheday Prophet Yūsuf’s family migrates to Egypt accepting Yūsuf as their leader. Thus his dream comes true, and the story ends.
This story revolve around one of four core themes:

Allah mentions Ginger as "Zanjabeel" in Qur'an.
Allah says in Qur'an:
"And they (people of paradise) will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger"
(Qur'an: Al-Insaan 76: Verse 17)

Prophet Yusuf A.S was raised in the kingdom of Egypt while Musa A.S was raised in kingdom of Pharoah.
The man who bought Yusuf A.S was the minister of egypt.
Musa A.S was adopted by wife of Pharoah "Asiya" & Musa grew up in Fir’aun’s home

And the one from Egypt who bought him said to his wife, Make his residence comfortable. Perhaps he will benefit us, or we will adopt him as a son. And thus, We established Joseph in the land that We might teach him the interpretation of events.

This verse is also called as "Verse of loan" or Ayat-Al-Dayn".
This ayah speaks about financial transactions, the rights of the debtor, the approach of the creditor, justice and equity, documentation, witness a evidence, fear of Allah and being conscious of Him.

@Hadithoftheday This verse is verse no. 282 of Surah Baqarah. It is the longest verse in whole Glorious Qur'an.
The concept of borrowing is explained in this verse.
This verse is about financial transactions.
This verse pertains to the most effecient manners of debt payment.

Allah made the longest Ayah a description about debiting to show us that money exchange should be treated so carefully.

Dawood A.S was the first person to have been appointed a Prophet and king at same time.
Dawood A.S was very wise in making decisions, so was his son- Sulayman A.S

Leadership of Umar R.A.

Umar R.A would roam the streets of medina at night to help his people.

When it was the year of the famine, Umar R.A took pains to ensure that adequate relief reached all people, and that there were no persons in the city who went to sleep hungry.

One night as usual Umar R.A went on his round. He was accompanied by his slave Aslam. As he strolled from street to street all was quiet and the people seemed to be asleep. Umar R.A thought to himself, “Thank God, there is no one in this city whom the famine has afflicted.”
