Unfortunately official DfE guidance still remains that only CEV children are supported & CV/CEV parents (who may be more at risk due to age related risk) aren't.

Hampshire LEA changed rules after threatening a CEV parent at a fines panel meeting. A team of lawyers from the Public Interest Law Centre turned up in support and new guidelines were issued the following day to revoke previous fines to support learning if it"endangers [a] life".
The @publiclawcentre have been working incredibly hard to protect the human rights of Clinically Vulnerable parents and SEN children.
However, the law is slow and *all* headteachers all need to understand that lives are in their hands.
