The reason many US states and cities have yet to distribute 70% - 80% of the vaccines sent to them is the same reason the death rate of COVID-19 is very high in some places versus others: We are governed by in-over-their-heads, drunk clowns who have no clue what they are doing.

In NY, @NYGovCuomo should do what is done in Israel where anyone above 60 or who is in a certain health/job group gets a shot. Israel is pushing vaccines to any provider capable of injection it to said group while in NY there are sub-groups within the health care worker class.

You heard that right: While front line workers are first for vaccines, there is an order within those workers as to who can get it. This causes delays; especially after @NYGovCuomo announced $1 million fines a few days ago for any provider that does not follow his rules. READ:

Over the weekend (see above thread) many people and I pointed out that not all healthcare workers are eligible for vaccination in NY and that this delays distribution.

Today, @NYGovCuomo announced that all healthcare workers are now eligible to vaccinate.
