The tape of the full hour is up now. #TrumpTapes washingtonpost.com/video/politics…
Listening: he goes through a laundry list of conspiracy theories about ballot stuffing and forgeries and so on - no acknowledgement that none of this has been presented in court over the last two months.
Also my god he’s just filibustering. The Georgians haven’t even said a word yet.
Trying to picture Meadows and the lawyers listening to him as he rambles.
He keeps repeating that because many people came to his rallies, “it’s not possible” for him to have lost.
That his yes men haven’t set him straight on that is criminal.
Repulsive that he keeps ranting about one black female poll worker, calling her a “professional hustler.”
Trump lawyer Cleta Mitchell contradicts the Georgia Sec of State, insisting ballot stuffing was caught on tape - even though the full tape does not show this. She insists it does.
The Georgia officials sound intimidated but determined.
“You should wanna have an accurate election. And you’re a Republican.”
“We believe we do have an accurate election.”
“No, you don’t. No. No, you don’t. Not even close. You’re off by hundreds of thousands of votes.”
This is getting boring. He’s just throwing out wild accusations and refusing to listen to any responses.

“You many are forgeries. You know that. You know that. You have no doubt about that.”
“They’re going around playing you and laughing at you behind your back, Brad. Whether you know it or not. They’re laughing at you.”
The president threatens state officials:
“It’s more illegal for you than it is for them. Because you know what they did and you’re not reporting it. That’s a criminal offense. You can’t let that happen. That’s a big risk to you... I’m notifying you that you’re letting it happen.”
“What we are seeing is not at all what you’re describing.”
Trump insists they don’t know what they are talking about.
Lol he’s been super disdainful of this lawyer Cleta Mitchell twice now.
“Look Brad, I have to find 12,000 votes.”
“So what are we gonna do here folks? I only need 11,000 votes. Fellas. I need 11,000 votes. Give me a break.”
Back to attacking that one poll worker “a known political operative balloteer.”

“That’s not accurate Mr President.”
Sour now.
“Your numbers aren’t right, Brad. They’re really wrong. I know this phone call is going nowhere. Other than ultimately...you know.”
He talked right over Cleta again. Lol.
And cut her off again. Rudely.
Why would you ever work for this guy?
Why isn’t Rudy or Jenna on this call?
Kurt Hilbert gets agreement to look at 24,000 Georgia votes they dispute.

“If you are able to establish that our numbers are not accurate, then fine. However we believe that they are accurate.”
“that number is not accurate and I think we can show you why it’s not.”
Hilbert says they have asked for specific voter info six times. “It stands to reason that if the information is not forthcoming, there is something to hide.”

“There are things under law that we are not allowed to give out.”
Ranting about how he got Brian Kemp elected singlehandedly.

Tells Raffensperger that Georgians “hate the secretary of state. The only people that like you are people that will never vote for you. You know that, Brad, right?”
Well that was something. I can see why people are scared of him - he’s manic and bullying - but he’s also so stupid that I’m surprised they don’t laugh at him.

2020 update: well, turns out I had no idea. Setting aside the horrors of the pandemic and the employment/hunger crisis, here are some of the weirder minor events from this year you might have forgotten:
Trump tweets “I was the person who saved Pre-Existing Conditions in your Healthcare,” even though his administration is in court trying to nullify the Affordable Care Act. - Jan. 13, 2020
Dismisses reports that 34 US soldiers suffered traumatic brain injuries in an Iranian missile attack. “I heard they had headaches.” - Jan 24, 2020

Seems pretty reasonable so far.
The exchange about his pleading with women to like him was not the blow up it was described as.

Obama: “Can you *imagine* if I had had a secret Chinese bank account when I was running for re-election? You think Fox News would have been a little concerned about that? They would have called me Beijing Barry!”
Said he paid more taxes than Trump when he was 15 years old working at Baskin Robbins. “I think I might have paid more taxes that year dispensing ice cream.”
Says Trump can’t protect the nation from the pandemic. “He can’t even take the basic steps to protect himself!”

While Trump is on Fox demanding that Barr open an investigation of his opponent two weeks before Election Day:
I tuned in for 20 seconds: just enough time to hear him say that the media misrepresents most incidents of excessive force against suspects. That was enough for me, thanks. Image
I didn’t edit that screenshot by the way. Very weird optics.

Conley's letters - which up to now have always been signed - are no longer being signed. It stopped the second day Trump was at Walter Reed. This might not be worthy of note if Trump didn't have a history of writing his doctors' letters.
Oh look at this. I was looking at old Conley letters to confirm he always signed them before. This does not look like his signature. At all.
