the American people, or at least the majority that makes up the gestalt consciousness of the American vox populi are now equally pieces of shit. No one likes to think Ill of themselves or their families, but ponder if you will the exponential increase in laws and complexity of
of your institutions, the empirical take is a great and equal expansion of wickedness. American Lefties and Righties both (barring the deeply religious) labor under the impression of their universal and eternal virtue, each holding parts of its founding mythos as sacred. The
reality may simply be that the American people at present are simply much diminished from their ancestors and simply no longer possess the virtues that animated them in in the past, and hence the present state of affairs is both their own damn fault and that those who still hold
to the old faith, the Romanitus that animated it's people during the golden age are too few in number to arrest, or quite probably too late to arrest the spiral beyond the event horizon. It isn't a particularly comforting thought, but the idea that the men of the contemporary era
are weak shadows of the ancestors that strode history isn't particularly novel to the West at large or even America in particular. Most people who accept it though have difficulty acknowledging that they themselves may be emblematic of this decay, it's always a convenient
enemy that is responsible, that a restoration is still possible if only so and so we're done. If you had the virtues still they would have been done already or altogether unnecessary.
