These boxes of homemade thumbprint cookies and mandel bread just arrived from octogenarian @MSNBC viewer Elaine in Atlanta, just in time for me to eat them all while watching our #GASen coverage tonight. Thank you Elaine!
Oops. They actually arrived at the NBC News L.A. bureau on November 5. But I think I still have to try them. Sorry I'm not eating them fresh, Elaine.
Just spoke with Elaine, who already dropped off her ballot and is pulling for a Democratic sweep. I apologized for letting the cookies go stale.
Is microwaving two-month-old stale viewer-baked cookies dangerous?

NEW: Biden transition official declines to say if Trump admin is sharing info on separated families, citing MOU. No details yet on members of promised reunification task force, if families will be allowed back in USA, nor if they'll extend contract for mental health services.
