2. In her speech in the Australian Federal Parliament Senator @janet_rice asked the @AusHCIndia resign after he visited the headquarters of RSS, whom she described as a “#Fascist organisation that openly admits admiration for Adolf Hitler”.
3. Also in the Federal Parliament, Senator @NickMcKim called Adani's Carmichael coal mine project in Queensland a triple-bottom-line dud .. ”.....proposed by a company which has an appalling track record, particularly socially and environmentally.”
4. India’s crackdown on dissent and the imposition of ‘harsh and discriminatory measures in Kashmir’, featured prominently in a speech on Human Rights, in the Australian Federal Parliament, by Senator @larissawaters on 3 September 2020.
5. Speaking in the Victorian Parliament, MP @SamanthaRatnam urged the government to review its India strategy “in the context of Indian Government’s recent treatment of farmers and religious minorities”
