reminder: rent-seeking corporations can do things that are completely legal but still illiberal.
and i agree with them, no one should be compelled to publish something. but watching people who want government to run everything suddenly champion the rights of corporations is funny. does their love of economic choice extend to health care insurance, or only books?
And if your answer is the First Amendment, I'm going to have to ask you to explain why it's ok for the state to force everyone to pay for abortions, including nuns.
Or why you -- almost surely -- are ok with "hate speech" laws.
and if it wasn't clear, I think Hawley's contentions were ridiculous. They almost always are.

*real conservatives* ally with socialists when trying to extend their con.
"... perhaps you look at us and see something that is not so..." Steve is Twitter's purple prose champ.
"We are all the types of guys who always tip at 50% or more." I can't stop laughing. People who need to say that, are definitely not that.

If only these folks actually cared about the First Amendment as much as they do mean tweets. All just posturing.
Obama spied on a Fox journalist — shopping his case to three separate judges, until he found one who let him name reporter James Rosen as a co-conspirator in a crime of reporting the news. He spied on many AP reporters. I wonder if this guy said a word?
100 percent this guy is fine with overturning Citizens United.

Troy is equal parts terrible and awesome. (I will watch any movie about ancients)
Barbarians was OK. But let's be honest: Romans > Germanic tribes
I liked both The Eagle and Centurion.

Bulwark/Lincoln Project convinced three percent more Republicans to vote for Trump.
As someone pointed out in my feed, LP is basically an organization that took money from Blue State liberals and sent it to Red State television stations (after taking a cut)
Should also be noted that 7 of 9 R senators outran (so far) Trump, so the down-ballot strategy was a complete failure.

Ronald Dahl was a huge anti-Semite.
I'm not saying Joe knew that or was sending any messages! Pretending your vote can change the world is dumb enough on its own.
I loved his books. But he did say things like : “There is a trait in the Jewish character that does provoke animosity”, he said. “I mean, there’s always a reason why anti-anything crops up anywhere; even a stinker like Hitler didn’t just pick on them for no reason.”

Just amazing how these talking points spread among "journalists."
If you don't go along with every Democrat demand ignoring voting laws you're suppressing the vote!
"firing scientists!"
