It's time for the #IRS to investigate Falun Gong for violating its 501(c)(3) status

501(c)(3) organizations "are absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office"

However, the Falun Gong has used religious donations - both monetary and in-kind - to aggressively fund a media empire

This media empire is extremely pro-Trump. Even as of today, its flagship newspaper, the Epoch Times, is refusing to call the election for Biden

What's more, the FLG has been suspected of ordering its followers to flood social media with coordinated posting campaigns in support of Trump and opposing Biden

I have it on good authority that some of these coordinated campaigns included in-kind support from either Falun Dafa USA or digital / web advertising agencies affiliated with (or in one case controlled by) FDUSA.

In addition, the construction process of FLG's New York compound, Dragon Springs, offers a target-rich environment for potential tax violations

Either way, between the 501(c)(3)/political angle and Dragon Springs angle, there's enough to justify an investigation. And Dragon Springs offers a nice, immobile asset that can be seized to pay everything down😉

2/ The blowback from bigtech doing this is going to be the balkanization of the internet. Every country + the EU is going to go for their own social media / mobile / cloud stack now @passluo

3/ China obviously has a trust deficit with other major tech ecosystems, so Chinese apps will have trouble winning worldwide, but it can get around that by making it so that *no one* can dominate the global commons in the way that Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Apple currently do
