Hi @PatToomey - did you miss before the election when Trump responded to a plot to kidnap, rape, & kill the Michigan governor (& bomb first responders) by saying "I mean, we'll have to see if it's a problem. People are entitled to say maybe it was a problem, maybe it wasn't"?
Did you miss when he was asked to condemn the Proud Boys, a violent white supremacist group that actively participated in the attack on the Capitol, and responded by telling them to "stand by"?
Did you miss how even after the plot against Governor Whitmer, Trump told his followers to lock them all up?
I appreciate Republicans coming around, now that their own lives have been put in jeopardy, and saying this president's actions are unacceptable. But don't talk to us like no one could've seen this coming and he wasn't acting like this all along. Fuck that. Take accountability.

When people talk about the impact of Brown vs. Topeka Board of Education, it often elides that that Supreme Court case bundled up SCOTUS challenges to segregated schools in 4 states and DC.
One of those Supreme Court cases was Delaware's Belton v. Gephardt. As Senator McBride notes, it was the only one of the challenges where the lower court ordered desegregation before the case got to the Supreme Court.
Last Congress, Senators Coons and Graham and Representative Clyburn introduced a bill to expand Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site to expand its coverage to include other places (like the Claymont Community Center) that were part of these Supreme Court cases.
