Thanks @RepKenBuck @RepThomasMassie @chiproytx. Pelosi’s effort are incitement to some and seeks to overturn the 2016 election. The terms ends next week so let it run its course.
Only 40% polled by Ipsos trust Pelosi to safeguard America’s democracy. Any @HouseGOP’er that goes along with a new impeachment effort is watching too much CNN/MSNBC.
If you are newer to politics you now have a live lesson as to why Nixon resigned and why Clinton survived. Republicans tend to pull to its party Stockholm Syndrome sufferers and push overs; generation to generation.
We are a mere 2 months of Trump increasing his raw vote total by 18% compared to the last POTUS election (Obama dropped by 5%) and the @HouseGOP coming within striking distance of the majority thanks to Trump. Yet, many GOPers act to be in retreat. cc @GOPLeader

Sick 🐶
Trump’s narrow loss in a fey kew swing states (and with it the elex) is due to the non-Trump wing of the GOP cutting into Trump, and the GA losses is due to Trump hitting back at the weak @SenateGOP. Neither outcome is due to “suburban women” and bla bla. It’s inner party fights.
Pelosi’s resolution is calling on @Mike_Pence to trigger the 25th Alendment or else she goes to impeachment. But those two are a contradiction: The first is if a POTUS is mentally/physically incapable of doing his duties. Impeachment is if he willfully commits a crime.
Pelosi hopes that some GOPers fold on impeachment and then will face a 2020 primary which will make it easier for Dems to pick up seats in the midterms due to the many open Republican seats.

Some idiot GOPers are about to walk into this buzzsaw because... they are idiots.

The more popular your current political/policy issue is, the bigger the chance that history will see it as wrong. Hence the need to wait for history which sees things diff than what was accepted at the time.

If 80% media noise PR your view, U R likely on wrong side of history.
The term “history will judge so and so” is reserved for people whose current voice is drowned out in the noise of the majorry so they can only wait for history to judge it with a clear eye.

But if the Big Noise is on your side then you are probably on the wrong side of history.
As you can see, history remembers positively the person who refuses to go along with what everyone is doing at the time. If you see yourself on the same side of broad media narratives regarding rights/freedoms then you are probably going to be on the wrong side of history, moron. Image

The censorship started years ago. The issue was when Righteous Cons excused it away as private business taking out Trump Crazies like Alex Jones, and Trump was too selfish to care. Now things are just accelerating.
It was never about Trump or “dangerous radicals.” It was/is about taking out political opponents by giving excuses that make it sound as legit.

That’s how fascists have done it for centuries. Packge the opponent as “dangerous” and 3/4 country agrees with your action.
When freedom-crushing dictators and regimes get to tweet and tweet threats while commentators and officials in the US R banned, you should know that it is not about rules/peace/safety. It’s about crushing political opponents but you Righteous Cons are too dumb to notice. Morons!

Many people in the republican party in Georgia did not go out and vote Tuesday and many conservatives nationally argued that it is time for the Republicans to take it in the chin politically speaking.

It seems that Washington Republicans are trying to prove those voices right.
Many Republicans/Cons released statements the last 24 hours only to accommodate a media narrative. But Democrats are never happy and have now moved the goal posts to demand that Trump should be thrown out of office with two weeks to ago.

Watcha gonna do now, Righteous Cons?
In other words, your political opponent is dictating what is “the right thing to do.” But because they are your opponents and you are their useful idiots they will keep on pushing until you behave like a Dem at which point Democrats may as well win elections. Hence, GA outcome.

Many Cons spent the day comparing a punched out window at the capitol to cities burning from lefty riots.
Two years ago, Libs blocked lawmakers from going in/out of elevators (remember the @JeffFlake moment?), and roamed in restricted areas.

It was during the Kavanaugh hearings. The Hill was essentially stormed but PD did not drop tear gas and shoot and it was cheered on by MSM.
Photos of Capitol buildings in the US being overrun and under siege by lefty Dems over the last decade.

Those things were covered as great activism, and Cons did not attack it as anti-democratic since media didn’t cover it as such. Cons whine about media but parrot media. ImageImageImageImage

The Dems, their Super PACs (media) and even some @SenateGOP’s told America repeatedly that rioting and getting in the face of lawmakers (who back Trump) are a good thing.
PHOTO of inside the Capitol.

The Wisconsin one in 2011.

I don’t recall anyone freaking out about democracy being under siege.
Some in the media think that arresting Trump will be a walk in the park.

Today is just a downpayment.

It’s a prediction; not a warning.

Don’t blame the weatherman for telling you about a pending snowstorm.

If @SenTomCotton’s reasoning were sound then do away with the whole Jan 6th procedure. Congress has no role in the electoral process per @TomCottonAR (which is false but I am going by his claim).
According to @SenTomCotton if a group of states go rogue to capturing a branch of the federal government, the other branches need to stand by and leave it for “the states” to decide.

Um, those states sent lawmakers to DC to defend/represent their state. No?

cc @tedcruz
Again, I am asking @chiproytx and @TomCottonAR to tell me the remedy for when states go rogue (I am not saying it happened here).

“Other states need to decide.”

How? Going to SOCUTS was rejected because one state can’t interfere in the business of another state. So what’s next?
