Things to consider;

1) Number Of Patients:
The main salary model, is a few for service model that allows physicians to bill the government for each patient they see. Under this model, the salary will be based on how many patients are seen everyday, what service are provided and province being operated in.
According to CIHI, the average cost per service was $47 (N14,100) for a family physician, $82 (N24,600) for a medical specialist, and $89 (N26,790) for a surgical specialist.

Family physicians see more patients a day but specialists bill a higher rate per patient.
