NEW: The Michigan Capitol Commission, in a sudden reversal, voted unanimously Monday to ban the open carry of guns inside the Michigan Capitol, effective immediately. Story coming to @freep#mileg#guns
Critics say the ban does not go far enough and the carry of all firearms, whether they are carried openly or concealed, should be banned by anyone who is not law enforcement.
Here is our story about the action the MI Capitol Commission took today to ban the open carry of firearms inside the state Capitol. bit.ly/3i4kG7C
Despite an opinion to the contrary issued by the MI attorney general, House Speaker-elect Jason Wentworth, R-Clare, said the commission "does not have the authority to set policy in the Capitol."
Although guns are permitted inside the Capitol, signs are not. Officials said signs could scratch the paint inside the historic building.

Nobody I can find has heard of this case or posted any related court order/docs. MI's 13th Circuit Court, which includes Antrim, Grand Traverse & Leelenau counties, has an impressively user friendly online search function. (more)
In addition to searching by plaintiff & defendant name, I was able to scroll every circuit court case filed in Antrim County this year. No cases found involving Trump campaign, Antrim Co clerk, or Sec of State Jocelyn Benson (more)
The most recent case involving the Antrim County Board of Canvassers, which would be a likely defendant in such a case, was from 2002. (end)
