The UK anti-trans movement, closely aligned with and supported by Christian anti-choice groups, is exceedingly concerned not only with exterminating trans women but with forcibly "preserving" AFAB people's fertility, particularly the white ones, and they're not subtle about it.
This makes sense once you place them in the larger context of growing British nationalism and hysteria about immigration, which also drove Brexit.
There's a reason we keep warning that the anti-trans movement will have severe repercussions for bodily autonomy, reproductive rights, and cis women's own freedom of gender and sexual expression.
This is a well-funded, racist, old school white Christian crusade to stamp out "depravity" and eliminate challenges to cisheteronormative white patriarchy, with middle class and affluent conservative cis white women as the vanguard to give their moral panic a sheen of legitimacy.
