All those getting concerned about WhatsApp and Facebook privacy issues. The issue is much deeper or older than that. How about Facebook seeming to feel it has the right to link up all the contacts from your phone

... in fact they are so creepy, careless of just useless that it even gives you people's real identities when all you have is a phone number. talk about useless. I guess there could be other cultprits like Google/Android involved. Who knows?

Fortunately some of us in this world are professional and respect privacy and confdientiality so those people can feel safe with me. Problem is the world is so full of ignorant creeps who dont respect privacy etc ....

But hey it happens on Instagram too surprise surprise. Here is a suggestion to follow some (potentially embarassing) profile because one of your mates or your wife follows it etc

... and you know. There doesn't seem to be an option (even the default, as it should be IMO) for none of this creepy life-destroying stuff to happen

It strikes me is there is this whole creepy culture (don't know if its Facebook or broader), that bases social life and networking on some common link without carng about that common link's rights. So you can use people, even connect and talk about them without them even knowing

Maybe it was based on the old party conversation/opening where you can ask another guest how they met/know the host. The difference is the host has usually invited you all to their social gathering
