2/The real threat isn't a No First Use socialist DPRK "shrimp among whales" using textbook nuclear deterrence to defend itself against perceived US threats of attack & regime change, but a paranoid superpower feeling so threatened by DPRK's nukes it risks conflict to rid them.
3/Doesn't the DPRK have the sovereign right to build its national defense to ensure the US doesn't try to take them out thru regime change or first strike? It sure as hell does. The simplest solution is letting DPRK rejoin the NPT as a rules-abiding nuclear state. Problem solved.
