just fyi, bari weiss has changed none of her politics since the first pieces. she still routinely smears pro-palestine activists as anti-semites and tries to get them fired and censored. the only difference is that she does it while loudly cosplaying as a free speech warrior
oh and she still lies about her many years of trying to get professors fired by smearing them as anti-semites. glenn knows this, he wrote the story on it, yet he happily shares her piece wherein she decries the horrors of censorship and "cancel culture". I don't know why. ask him
bari weiss falsely and maliciously smeared professors joseph massad and hamid dabashi as anti-semites, and successfully pushed the university to begin formal investigations against them (which cleared them). not only has she not apologized, she believes she was right
in her most recently published book "how to fight anti-semitism", which she has gone on every mainstream media outlet to promote (she did a special talk with cnn's jake tapper who avidly praised it), she smears corbyn and his supporters as rabid anti-semites
I know weiss has no principles and is a grotesque grifter. but I don't know why glenn on the one hand defends people against these malicious false charges aimed at destroying them, while on the other hand he launders the person who has done more than most to throw them around
oh and on another note, "we were promised the internet would be better than democracy" is incoherent babble. WTF does that mean? aside from the odiousness of her views and her transparent bad faith grifting, bari weiss is among the most talentless, asinine, vapid hacks alive
