A lot of the perception of racial status is mediatized. News enclosures have amplified this.
And then there is a psychological element. People can be exposured to the same data, same images and have very different perceptions of their own status and the status of others
And to make it even more fun, these perceptions aren’t stable. They can be environment specific. It might be that whitetopias have a negative effect on one’s bias but a positive effect on their perfection of loss.
What’s interesting about these recent monsters is how stable their perceptions seem. That might be more of the cult effect with the good stabilizing white supremacy.
