Also, the study was of students in class just 2 days per week. Plus, 1/3 of students were completely remote.

The recommendations also include:
▶️ Daily screenings of students and staff
▶️ Mask adherence
▶️ Efficient contact tracing
▶️ 3 Ws, including 6' social distancing

We have none of these.

It's worth mentioning the study didn't find any instances of child-to-adult transmission.

In terms of statistics, yes, it's true. The study says 99.96% of students didn't get COVID at school. It also says 99.11% didn't get COVID at all.

But the study also notes that the 14-day quarantine period for exposed students provides little motivation for parents to actually test kids. The study does not document how many of the over 3,000 students who quarantined were actually tested.

The study was unable to analyze the incidence of child-to-child transmission due to privacy.

Finally, while it's not directly related, the study notes that half of all cluster outbreaks (5 or more related cases) occurred in private schools. But private schools account for just 8% of students.

In several places, the authors note their belief in the importance of masking.
