(PS) Remember, the Proud Boys have already been caught lying to media about whether they were using blaze orange hats and armbands to signal one another during the insurrection. Now it seems that a Proud Boy is using Trump's lawyer to spread disinformation about the insurrection.
(PS2) One possibility: Proud Boy James Sullivan is under investigation by the FBI after the arrest of his fake-leftist Proud Boy brother John, and one/both Sullivans are a) trying to get out of trouble with lies, b) in touch with Kash Patel as to the insurrection. FBI, take note.
(PS3) It's equally possible this has nothing to do with Giuliani associate Kash Patel. My point is that given that cash Patel is a well-known Trump/Giuliani associate and Giuliani is posting this text message as though it were sent to him, he's creating a real problem for Trump.

(PS5) What's most preposterous about Giuliani's tweet, of course, is that he posts it in the context of there being hours and hours and hours of video universally available online in which the Trumpists—in mid-insurrection—talk at length about how they're Trump-loving Trumpists.
(PS6) Of course—speaking of cell phone mishaps—this is the same Giuliani who accidentally called the wrong senator mid-insurrection, leading to the revelation that Giuliani was trying to get in touch with Sen. Tuberville to get him to fraudulently challenge 10 slates of electors.
(PS7) Giuliani's attempt to aid the Proud Boys by spreading lies about antifa has been taken down by Twitter because the president's lawyer accidentally doxed the Proud Boy he was trying to assist, so here's a tweet with the offending number crossed out:
