I believe it's important to have a timeline of events related to Trump and his crimes. For journalists, investigators, and future deprogrammed Trump supporters who missed out on reality these past four years. (Plus it's like a "Trump crimes" search engine, so that's cool!) (2/9)

When I started Trump File, I had just finished reading @sarahkendzior's book, Hiding In Plain Sight. Before, I didn't understand everything the news told me about Trump. I knew he was BAD, but I didn't see the big picture. Sarah's book woke me up, but I was still naive.​.. (3/9)

I actually thought I could make a site only documenting Trump's ties to transnational organized crime, a major subject in Sarah's book. I wanted a small website focused on the stuff about Trump that most people don't know. (4/9)

I quickly realized that's impossible; there's a lot that people don't know, and Trump brought crime to every level of our government. I decided I have to document everything: the entire life and crimes of the Trump crime cult. (5/9)

This little quarantine project I thought would be less than 1,000 pages may end up being tens of thousands. But I'm doing it. And I'm doing it without ads, which is unheard of nowadays. Digital privacy is important to me, and I want to protect yours. (6/9)

No pressure, of course. I know these are hard times for everyone, and I appreciate the support here on Twitter, too. It means a lot just knowing that Trump File has more real people visiting now than Russian bots trying to hack it. (Those stopped after the election.) (8/9)

Lastly, I am anonymous for a reason. I do not have the resources to protect myself from lawsuits, threats, and other circumstances that people intensely focused on Trump's crime cult have had to deal with. I hope I won't have to worry about that soon. (9/9)
