I don’t understand. Why would you give up a two decade illustrious anchor career to teach in an extension program?

I will add that the extension school may bear the frills and trims of the main university but the website clearly says EXTENSION. It’s very different from being a prof at Harvard. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Need to show up for biometrics and so on. How can anyone believe someone when they say “ we have acquired the visa for you?”

The request for a visa is made by the individual and supporting docs/forms are provided by the uni. These have to be submitted to the consular officers by the person whose appointment it is.

Anyone who travels overseas knows these things. That visa bit is a huge red flag flapping in the wind

And does that mean Nidhi sent in her passport to these folks? Because how else would you get a visa? Unless it’s like a BRP like the type the UK has. In which case you would have to scan the entire passport and send it in and collect it within a specified time.

Even so you would have to give your passport because they would paste a vignette on your passport allowing you to enter.

Honestly this whole thing doesn’t make sense to me.
