Excellent statement re run distances for female cross country.

'The criterion “what the men or boys run” should be well down the list in deciding. The same applies, in reverse, for men and boys.'

Why should males always be the neutral default position?

athleticsweekly.com/athletics-news…
This is an equal treatment version of justice where the embodied reality of the female sex is invisible. Women are judged against the male standard and found wanting. Real justice for females would mean equal opportunity or equal outcome in terms of inclusion not distance.
However, it appears female athletes have not been included in this decision making given these iconic athletes are asking for consultation with female athletes. Equality as inclusion means inclusion at all levels in athletics, including decision making.
Justice = recognition, representation and redistribution. So @UKA_athletics needs to recognition the embodied reality of the female sex, ensure fair representation of females and make sure resource (money) is distributed equally. My paper:

Maybe not a disaster as apparently this phrase comes from Bostock ruling and:

'As this passage makes perfectly clear, Bostock does not apply to any of the contexts or other statutes where a conflict with women’s sex-based protections might arise.'

Title VII prohibits employment discrimination based on race, colour, religion, sex and national origin. I agree with prohibiting employment discrimination against lesbian gay and trans people. What I'm uneasy about is the conflation of sex, gender identity and sexual orientation.
However, hoping this is the equivalent of the British Equality Acts protected characteristics of sexual orientation and gender reassignment.

There appear to be misunderstandings. The Mayor's office was provided with details of attendees on 3 Feb, 1week prior to this meeting. This included academic, legal expertise, LP status and additional allegences including the LGB Alliance for one academic.
Additional allegences also disclosed to the Mayor's Office 1 week prior to the meeting was membership of the Manchester Feminist Network.

Neither of these two declared allegences resulted in cancellation of the meeting by the Mayor and why would they?
The meeting with Andy Burnham to discuss girls and women's rights as they currently exist and the concerns regarding the effect of self ID on these, was requested by me in July 2019 in this open letter:

Sport England knows there are far fewer women participating in team sports than men at recreational level. SE data for 2017/18 shows:
Rugby union participants: 98% male 2% female...
Football participants: 90% male 10% female...
