A new arrest today — a woman with a bullhorn at the Capitol turns out to be a business owner in Beverly Hills, CA who confirmed her attendance by tweet, posted video of herself, and gave a 2h interview about her participation to the Beverly Hills Courier. justice.gov/opa/page/file/…
Two other residents of Beverly Hills (according to CBS LA) were also arrested today for unlawful entry into the Capitol; the couple, delightfully named GOLD and STRAND, gave an interview and an photograph to the Washington Post. justice.gov/opa/page/file/…
Correx: This couple was actually arrested on Sunday; the charging papers were just posted.
Here’s the Beverly Hills Courier article on Gina Bisignano.

(The Courier is like a boutique libertarian tabloid, not usually a hard hitting paper, making this all the more surreal.) beverlyhillscourier.com/2021/01/14/bev…

“Newbold, who served 24 years in the U.S. Navy and has said online that he trains civilians and police in tactical shooting, said he wanted to make lawmakers "think twice about what they're doing" and to be left "shaking in their shoes."”

Here’s another passage from that same speech of Douglass’s.
And another — remember this was a 4th of July speech in upstate NY in 1852.

WaPo’s video investigation includes a lot of evidence showing the falsity of this statement.
The investigation includes one thing I hadn’t seen before — footage of the QAnon-shirted rioter Doug Jensen instructing the Capitol Police who stood in his way to “go arrest the Vice President.”

You shot your shot and missed, My Pillow guy. It’s over. Go home.
“Mr. President, the pillow maker man is here with a document about replacing the national security advisor and the CIA Director and also imposing martial law.”

“By all means, send him in. Get him a coffee.”
