India has begun the world’s biggest COVID vaccination campaign so far, deploying hundreds of thousands of health workers, with training & support of UN World Health Organization. On 16 Jan, the 1st day of the campaign, 207,229 vaccine shots were given across the country: UN News
For its part, WHO participated in dry-run simulations and provided feedback on management of vaccines, registration of beneficiaries, as well as reporting on vaccination coverage and adverse events following immunization: UN News
It also worked with the Government and the UN Development Programme (UNDP) on real-time reporting and problem-solving when issues arose at the vaccination sites, according to Dr. Ofrin: UN News
At the provincial level, WHO also supported implementation and monitoring of health policy, such as developing standard operating procedures, preparing technical briefs, and providing best practices from other parts of India as well as other countries: UN News

Situation that we have seen since last 6 months has been a result of the actions of Chinese side which has sought to effect a unilateral change in status along Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh: MEA Spokesperson
