Taking a stab at this one:

"This report is derived from the reporting of Edward Baumgartner"

"STEELE indicated that he had no doubt that he was the source of the reporting for this entire report"

"Baumgartner talks to Steele's primary subsource via..."

justthenews.com/sites/default/…
Curious thing happened earlier this summer: Millian and Page had simultaneously wondered aloud if Baumgartner hadn't been Steele's PSS.

(Baumgartner ultimately wasn't, but I suspect Millian and Page knew that at the time.)
Steele's reporting on Alfa Bank -- apparently authored exclusively by Baumgartner -- had adversely affected both the lives of Page and Millian.

I'm sure it's all just a big coincidence.

Maybe a stupid question:

If journalists had indeed identified Igor Danchenko in January 2017, as Glenn Simpson had suggested to Bruce Ohr, then how come not one of them published his name?

Why sit on that scoop, right?

Steele was afraid Olga Galkina was about to be exposed, too, huh? Image
Wait.

Another Orbis employee had collected info for the dossier?

...but had quit Orbis sometime before April 2017?

Who is this mystery employee? Image

Who is Ye Jianming?

To find out, it might be helpful to look back towards the end of the last election.

Remember that story from 2019 about an unidentified foreign-government-owned company that was being fined $50k/day for not complying with a subpoena from Mueller's Special Counsel?

It was......Egypt.

"Russian spies tried to recruit [Carter Page] in 2013, and he was dismissive when [FBI] agents warned him about it. That warning even made its way back to Russian intelligence, leaving agents suspecting that Mr. Page had reported their efforts to Moscow."

"That warning even made its way back to Russian intelligence..." 🤔
Can't say I recall seeing this claim in any other articles, or govt documents...
