The feds also brought out some sort of tear-gas blower machine...
What is this thing called??
More footage from earlier, when federal agents blanketed the area with riot-control munitions
So much tear gas from the feds tonight. It reminded me of some of the July days during the big federal deployment in Portland.
I'm not sure if it is the potency or what, but my skin is burning a lot more tonight than in past tear gas events.
After the feds advanced on the Portland crowd and unleashed the tear gas, someone pulled a Biden for President flag out and the crowd burned it on the street.
Portland police say they made more than 8 arrests today. I didn't see any federal agents make arrests. It seemed like they were coordinating to have local police handle that.

200 left-wing protesters are on the streets in Portland right now, with anti-Biden and anti-police messages.
"We are ungovernable," one sign says.
The Portland crowd has now gone to the local headquarters of the Democratic Party, smashing windows and writing "Fuck Biden"
Seeing some criticism for calling the crowd "left wing," which was my shorthand to make clear that it isn't Trump supporters on the streets of Portland. The longer version is that the crowd is a mix of racial-justice, anti-fascist, anarchist, youth liberation, etc
