[THREAD] After all the pomp and circumstance of a POTUS being “installed” in a capital city that more closely resembled a garrison, we are left with the reality that for the next four years we must “resist” a political party that intends to“fundamentally transform” the USA.
A political party that is most definitely “coming for your guns” and has made that crystal clear. As they really don’t know very much about firearms or even the firearms laws already on the books, they are operating from their emotions and not critical thinking.
A political party that always prefaces their latest assault on our Second Amendment rights with a statement on how they support the Second Amendment. Yet they vilify the National Rifle Association and its members.
A political party that claims to believe in the Second Amendment and yet you would be hard-pressed to recall a time when they actually defended the Second Amendment from being infringed.
A political party that vilifies one of the most popular firearms in private ownership and attempts to equate it with the more formidable weapons available to members of our military only to mock the idea that such firearms have any ability to dissuade a tyrannical government. 🙄
A political party that that intends to destroy the nation’s ability to remain energy independent and the thousands of related American jobs in the cause of combating anthropogenic climate change.
A political party that claims to “believe in science”, yet doesn’t acknowledge that experts in any field can disagree and that consensus isn’t proof.
A political party that looks at a highly fluid and complex system like the climate and is arrogant enough to think that they can manipulate it and fix a climate treat like they might bake a cake in their Easy-Bake Oven.
A political party that would gleefully enter into an agreement that would hamstring American industry while giving a pass to industrialized countries like China and India.
A political party that is pushing technology that doesn’t exist or that is incapable of meeting the demands that would be placed upon it, yet is willing to dismantle the energy sector that has helped create an enviable standard of living.
A political party that that embraces identity politics and intersectionality. A political party that insists that you are most certainly a racist and that the sooner that you recognize that “fact” the better.
A political party that unquestioningly accepts the garbage scholarship that produced The 1619 Project. The political party that embraces Critical race theory.
A political party that looks at American history and only sees a dark trail of death, theft, and subjugation, despite the fact that millions of people from around the world have made the journey to the United States at great personal cost to pursue a new life of freedom.
A political party that dismisses the Founding Fathers as a bunch of evil “old white men” and insists that they be judged according to our current standards and refuse to consider the times in which they lived.
A political party that rejects the idea of sovereignty and national borders. A political party that believes that enforcing immigration laws and placing limits on the number of people that can enter the nation to be immoral.
A political party that has characterized our border security personnel as “fascists” or “Nazis” for enforcing immigration laws passed in the Congress. A political party that characterized law enforcement detention facilities as concentration camps.
A political party that wept crocodile tears for those that were detained for attempting to enter the country illegally, yet never shed a tear for those Americans that were killed or otherwise harmed by illegal aliens that broke our laws to enter this country.
A political party that has done nothing to protect the First Amendment rights of Americans. A political party that has seen instances of the heckler’s veto being allowed to stifle free speech and stands silent because they disapprove of what the speaker might say.
A political party that doesn’t push back on the patently ridiculous assertion that disagreeable speech constitutes violence. A political party that doesn’t react with outrage over instances of violence being directed at people for the things that they have said.
A political party that insists that you “bake the cake” or support abortion in spite of your religious objections, yet also insists that Big Tech companies have the right to establish terms of service and decide who they will and won’t serve.
A political party that has repeatedly attempted to normalize and legitimize “uprisings”, “unrest”, harassment, intimidation, and political violence as a means of effecting political change, while clutching their pearls when someone else utilizes those very same tactics.

A political party that even now has representatives publicly voicing the shocking and reprehensible idea that millions of Americans need to be deprogrammed or re-educated because they disagree with those millions of Americans over politics.
A political party that never publicly rejected or pushed back on the laughable assertion that the previous administration represented a dictatorship or a fascist government.
A political party that never rejected or pushed back on the similarly ridiculous assertions that the supporters of the previous administration were all uneducated, illiterate “bigots”, “fascists”, “misogynists”, “Nazis”, “racists”, or “xenophobes.”
A political party that rails against capitalism as an evil that hasn’t elected people from all levels of society while pushing socialism which has been an abject failure everywhere that it has been implemented.
A political party that deliberately or ignorantly attempts to mischaracterize socialism as government services offered by all kinds of governments and with large, expensive, government-administered, social welfare programs like those offered in capitalist nations like Denmark.
No, the mere presence of our armed forces, police departments, and Social Security does not prove that the United States is already a socialist nation, you ridiculous half-wit. 🙄
We face a political party that screeched for four years nonstop about the POTUS being a would-be tyrant or an actual fascist and that will subsequently push to put more power in the hands of the executive branch and the government. A political party that wants to take away yours.
A political party that pushed for defunding or outright disbanding police departments. A political party that as recently as January 6th saw fit to malign police officers as incorrigible racists that defend systemic racism and treat black people more harshly and violently.
A political party that condoned, excused,supported, or merely turned a blind eye to the looting, rioting, and lawlessness that always seems to accompany the appearance of Antifa and BLM activists.

We face a political party that didn’t publicly reject the chants that “All cops are bastards” and that didn’t forcibly state that violence against our police officers is inexcusable and will not be tolerated.
A political party that didn’t push back against the ridiculous media narrative that the protests were “mostly peaceful” when Kenosha, Minneapolis, and Washington, DC were illuminated by the flames set by rioters.
A political party that raged about supposed instances of hate crimes being committed in the name of President Trump, many of which were later determined to be hoaxes.
Yet this same political party ignored or overlooked instances of harassment, intimidation, and violence directed at white people for being white, as well as members of the President’s administration and the President’s supporters.
This is the political party that waxes poetic about so-called dog whistles and microaggressions.
This is the same “party of science” that wants me to accept the horsesh~t delusions of gender fluidity and that transgender women can get pregnant like a loyal subject admiring “The Emperor’s New Clothes.”

You are free to believe that you are an eggplant for all I care. I may even use your preferred pronouns as a courtesy and out of respect for your feelings. I will not believe your delusion when your five o’clock shadow and the bulge showing through your sundress belies reality.
The current administration and the current majorities in Congress pose a threat, I believe to the nation. With that being said, I don’t intend to engage in the same kind of ridiculous histrionics that me and many others were subjected to for the last four years.
I don’t intend to wander aimlessly and shriek at the sky. I don’t intend to take part in some bizarre cosplay event on the National Mall in an effort to prove my oppression. I don’t intend to call President Biden a “fascist”, a “Nazi”, or a “communist” unless the facts align.
Likewise, I don’t intend to defend my statements made as part of this little “tweet storm.” You are free to disagree. I am not foolish enough to believe that the more diehard leftists are susceptible to having their opinions changed. Believe what you will.
