Thread: Last night at the PDX ICE facility, the large crowd of protesters and Press were gassed countless times by Federal agents. This is a video of me receiving medical aid from medics. Before and during the video, I throw up multiple times. 1/

As stated in a previous tweet last night, there were around 200+ protesters at ICE last night. About a minute before the first rush from the feds, my gas mask broke. I went the entire night with no mask, inhaling everything that was used to disperse the crowd 2/

There were numerous gassings which included the use of CS, OC, and HC gas. My eyes immediately burned and my face was on fire. Multiple times I had to stop filming to run away from the gas which filled a city block. The first time gas was used, I started choking and threw up 3/

As the night progressed Federal agents rushed the crowd multiple times making at least 2 confirmed targeted arrests. At one point as they held a line, feds brought out a gas leaf blower that filled the streets with gas. 4/

As I was taking photos of feds, they rushed the crowd once more, this time using an abundant amount of gas. I was in a thick white cloud without a mask after repeatedly being gassed throughout the night. It filled my lungs and I staggered away trying to catch a breath. 6/

My colleague saw me fall, gasping for air, and pulled me away from the gas. As I was running, I collapsed in a shop doorway and started choking. ( I have breathing problems) I vomited maybe 3 more times, heaving as I laid In this doorway. It felt like I was suffocating. 7/

My colleague screamed for a medic as I started to go unconscious. The call for a medical echoed all around me. Still choking on gas, two medics arrived and found me curled up in a doorway. They washed out my throat and I began to throw up water. I was given chemical wipes and aid

As the medics were giving me medical assistance I asked my colleague @cdsupriyadi to film them helping me and what I was experiencing. He complied and took a video of me vomiting, hyperventilating, and choking as medics cared for me For the rest of the night I continued to report

As of now, my chest feels like it has been crushed, I have a headache, and my mouth tastes like metal. I am sure that this will have long-lasting effects I am not aware of yet. Luckily @JuniperLSimonis is trying to see what these gasses used in chemical warfare do to our bodies
