There were reportedly two incidents of graffiti and egg-throwing by the protesters. Shortly after, Federal agents declared the event an unlawful assembly.
The federal agents including, DHS and BORTAC, rushed the protesters firing countless "less than lethal rounds," flashbangs, and canisters of OC and CS gas. The streets filled with thick white and yellow smoke while Federal agents fired indiscriminately into the gas.
After pushing the protesters one block down from the ICE facility, Portland Police officers and Bike Cops arrived on the scene. One federal officer wielded a device that looked like a leaf blower that distributed gas into the streets.
Snipers were also spotted on the roof with live ammunition @comradecamera Throughout the night, as gas consumed city blocks, Officers made multiple rushes and targeted arrests. At one point, Federal agents caused a protester to have a seizure due to them using a strobe light
Allegedly, 14 people were arrested in total during the multiple Jan20 events.
