You break glass ceilings when you’re a liberal woman. You get called names when you’re a conservative one.
You’re super mom when you’re a liberal woman. You’re questioned if you’re failing your kids (or if you’re a racist who adopted kids of color) when you’re a conservative one
If you are a liberal woman who doesn’t have kids you’re praised as going your own way and living your best life. When you’re a conservative woman who does the same you’re mocked as politically calculating and “childless.”
If you’re a Instagram influencer you can be openly liberal. You can’t if you’re conservative.
If you’re a liberal woman you won’t be doxed by your peers and colleagues. If you’re a conservative woman you will.
If you’re a liberal Christian you are accepted with open arms. If you’re a conservative Christian you’re challenged and called a bigot.
If you’re a liberal woman you won’t lose the audition to someone else. If you’re a conservative woman you do.
If you’re a liberal woman you can be open about your politics all of your life. If you’re a conservative woman you can’t.
If you’re a liberal woman you can switch careers from politics to pop culture and be lauded. If you’re a conservative woman there’s no way out.
If you’re a happily married liberal youre #RelationshipGoals — if you’re a happily married conservative woman you must be oppressed and controlled by your husband!

A thread: I’m hearing from pastors that “racists aren’t welcome!” At their churches. I get and agree that racism isn’t and shouldn’t be welcomed in the body of Christ... but since racism is a sin and all of us are sinners who have fallen short of the glory of God then...
who else will y’all turn away? You can’t have a church that all looks and sounds the same. You can’t have a church who turns away post abortive women, men fighting porn addiction, sex workers who need help, drug addicts, broken marriages etc...
God views all sin and brokenness the same. So why are we now allowing pastors to pick and choose which sins are worse and which sinners are and are not allowed?
Was just asked by the security guy at the @gelsonsmarkets on Van Nuys to “next time don’t enter the market wearing a shirt that’s controversial” and I asked why. He said he didn’t want to be responsible for a fight and I said, “you’re not responsible for what happens to me...
... I am.” He said “just don’t wear such a controversial shirt next time.” I said no one seemed bothered and no one commented. He waved me off. No one commented. I socially distanced. I wore a mask. I had Lysol wipe in my hand.
